Let me tell you a little more about us.

We live in Spring, Texas USA- just north of Houston.

I am a web architect who, because of the dearth of technical jobs in the US right now, is working as an Executive Assistant / IT Coordinator. That doesn't mean that I'm not still doing web work - I am - it just means that my company isn't *paying* me for doing web work. Some of the sites I've done are Gulf Coast Mensa, Henrich Insurance Group - HIG Texas, ConGlobal Industries (current employer), and Possible Places. My non-cat personal web site is Web Styles.

DH (dear husband), CatNapped, is a help desk support technician who works for Convergys. DH got the nickname CatNapped because he is, um, ergonomically "challenged". He is the brains of the family (as you can tell from the picture here, I'm the beauty of the family - *NOT*). Here are some more pictures of me.

Bandit recently left us for the Rainbow Bridge at the age of 17. You can read a story about her rampages on our Story Page if you'd like. Bandit was a DLH (domestic long hair) with tabby coloring.

Demi is our oldest at 9 years old. Demi is a DHL who is solid white. While she is the most gorgeous cat I've ever seen, very few people get to see her since she is so timid. She hides whenever anyone comes to visit, and most people don't even know we have a white cat living here!

Jessie is next in line at 8 years old. She is a DSH (domestic short hair) with variegated markings called tortoiseshell. Jessie is our clown cat - she loves to play and her favorite things in the whole world are the laser pointer (red dot greeble) and tropical fish food.

Sammy is 3 years old. She is a DLH with tabby coloring. Sammy is the most personable of our furbabies, very outgoing, friendly, and an incorrigible scamp. Sammy's depredations upon Mommy are infamous world wide. Her stories can also be found on our Story Page.

Ozzy is 8 months old. He is a DSH with orinj-stripey coloring. He is our quiet pacifist - always putting himself in between two fighting siblings (which makes him very brave since Sammy and Demi get into some real set-to's!). Ozzy (full name Ozzymandis) was named after a super-hero, but got his nickname from the laid-back, somewhat ditsy rocker, Ozzy Osbourne.

Archer is 8 months old. He is a DSH with orinj-stripey coloring. He is our adventurer and got his name from Captain Jonathan Archer of "Star Trek - Enterprise". He is also the klutziest cat I've ever seen (he broke his leg at 3 months old by knocking it against a door jamb when he was running from one room to the next!). Archer is the sweetest cat I've ever known - when the vet was poking around on his broken leg, causing considerable pain, Archer leaned over and started licking my hand!
